Good Stock Auditors

The Licensed Retail Leisure Trade is an orchard of opportunity and a minefield of mistakes.

The Managed Public House owned by a Brewery or Pub Chain should have the advantage of centralised accounts, purchasing and Stock Auditing.

If you are lucky enough to be an independent, free of tie, with no rent or mortgage. A club or Public House should be an orchard of opportunity.

In my opinion a successful Licensee is a member of The Local Licensee’s Association, the British Institute of Inn-keeping and reads the Publicans “Morning Advertiser” licensed trade newspaper.
My Granddad and his two brothers were successful Licensees.
Uncle Bill’s advice to me when I became a Tenant Licensee was have a stock-take every month for the first six months, because

“People who don’t use Stock-takers just don’t know what they’re missing.”

Over the years Good Stock Auditors like County & Town save business’ thousands of £’s.
